Proceeds from ticket sales benefit the Department’s Designing a 21st Century City lecture series. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Support Circles Program of the Plan to End Homelessness, the joint City of Raleigh, Wake County, Triangle United Way, and Wake Continuum of Care effort aimed at ending homelessness in Raleigh and Wake County.

The City of Raleigh Urban Design Center is hosting the 3rd Annual Downtown Raleigh Home Tour on May 19, 2007 from 11 am to 5 pm (rain or shine).

Held the same weekend as Artsplosure, the self-guided tour will focus on the wide variety of housing options available in Downtown, featuring historic properties and single-family homes as well as affordable rental units and luxury condominiums.

On behalf of the City of Raleigh, I welcome you to the 3rd Annual Downtown Raleigh Home Tour. The Department of City Planning is proud to host this annual event showcasing the wide variety of housing options available in the heart of our City.

Downtown Raleigh has emerged as the Triangle’s dynamic urban center. Experience the diversity of residential living from the traditional single-family homes to contemporary condominiums from historic neighborhoods to new urban enclaves. The tour will also give you a chance to explore Raleigh’s cosmopolitan street life filled with arts and culture, dining and shopping. There is also information for a number of upcoming residential projects on display at Raleigh’s Urban Design Center.
